My Story

Hi There:)
Well Here’s a Brief History…
I first got into fitness at the age of 17. Working out with a mail order manual that had little pictures of men doing bench presses and strange exercises with broom handles – yeah, really! I loved it, did a 12 week course and was hooked.
At this time I jumped into the fitness industry. I worked in leisure centers and fitness clubs all over England getting my ‘feet wet’ as a new trainer – allowing these clubs to send me on course after course to get qualified and learn – nice!
At this time in my life I began what I call my ‘nomadic years’! Basically my desire to travel the world just got too much to suppress and I began leaving England to travel, learn, work, train and play (in no particular order!) all over the world.

I’d work for a while to get money – then move from country to country. Enjoying life and learning what I could. I always got work in the health industry where possible but had a thousand ‘side jobs’ to pay for the next plane ticket! (That’s a lot of stories for another time)
Essentially my life was now about training clients in the countries I stayed in and learning from many great people in the global fitness industry…
I loved every minute spending my early life as a nomadic fitness pro and then – (I’ll save the rest of the details for later posts
– one day I moved and settled in America…
The Here and Now…
Well I’m now currently a certified fitness pro in the USA. I train people in Fat Loss & Intensity Bootcamps and specialize in proven fat loss, rapid intensity training, lean muscle stimulation and overall body conditioning and transformation.

I do what I love full time. And that is working, learning and helping people in the Fitness Industry. Lucky me:)
I have written numerous fitness books, articles and training guides. My first releases were Abmetrics1.0 & in 2009 Abmetrics2.0. – the ultimate guide to rapid fat loss & real six pack abs for any person.
My latest and newest release is Maverick Intensity Training. As of writing its in test phase – this is a system I love because its all my knowledge about fat loss/lean muscle stimulation & elite conditioning in one course – that’s aimed at any person of any fitness level. And workouts are structured to be done anywhere. People are loving it because it also has the nice little side effect of giving anyone six pack abs because of the type of structure and training they do.

Well. For the moment that gives you a brief history of me and what’s going on. There will be more added to the story and more revealed about my journey from England to America over the coming months…
But for now, lets go and concentrate on learning, training and transforming our bodies – the Maverick way…
